School Summer Fair

We had a very busy (and very hot) day Saturday.  After Alfies Laser Tag party (Jamie got upset as Miaya was sat with birthday boy) we dashed across to school for the summer fair.

Last year I ended up spending far too much, so this year I emptied out the loose change tin and put £7 in a bag for the purpose.  I told Jamie once that was gone there was no more.

Jamie had it all figured out.  As soon as we got there he was desperate to spend, spend, spend but I told him we had to have a walk round first to see what there was.  I could not get Jamie to go on the Donkeys and it was rather hot for the bouncy inflatables.

Jamie's favourite was the 'Teddy Tombola' where he spent £2 and won 2 new teddies (which we really don't need!).  We also had a go on the Guide Dogs tombola (as you could win a puppy teddy) but no prize.

Mummy tried her hand at Water or Wine and unfortunately got water; but it was needed in the heat!  We had a couple of goes on the prize tombola and came away with some biscuits.  Finally  'Throw 3 darts'.

We were in and out very quickly, didn't really see anyone we knew, and came home with 50p and time to get ready for Emily's 16th celebration.
