Beavers Cook Out

Jamie (and daddy) went on their first cook out on Friday night.  And they both loved it!  Singing, marshmallows and a tug of war.  What more could a 7 year old ask for?

Snogging!

As you might remember, in Septemeber, Jamie and Lucy were caught snogging....  http://grumpymumtobe.blogspot.co.uk/2015/09/kissing-cousins.html  Not sure if it is due to the amount of James Bond Jamie has been watching lately (thanks to Uncle Paul!) but Jamie keeps trying to 'snog' both mummy and daddy.  It is scary to saw the least!

The Queens Birthday at Beavers

On the occasion of the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth, the Beavers made cards which were sent with a picture of the Beavers in their crowns and some badges.   The Beavers were very excited to received a letter and a card from the Queen as a thank you.

Metheringham Airfield Wartime Weekend

We set out intending to go somewhere else, but on the way there saw the signs for the Friends of Metheringham Airfield Wartime Weekend.  I was glad we made the last minute decision.  It was a really good, educational day, and Jamie loved dressing up and sitting on the motorbikes....But, I have told him, he is NEVER having one!
