Our own Dennis The Menance

Due to the snow last week, World Book Day had to be moved.  Jamie went as Dennis The Menace.    He still loves reading The Beano every week and Nana bought him both The Beano and The Dandy annuals for Christmas.

Parents were invited in to 'Share a Story' so I was able to hear Jamie read aloud for the first time in a long time, as he doesn't like to read out loud at home.  (I think he feels it is a bit babyish).

Jamie's teacher awarded him a prize (chocolate eggs) for best in class.  She said it was because of his spiky hair!!

Snow Day(s)!!

Tuesday this week we woke up and were all disappointed as the forecast had predicted snow but these was nothing.  However, as the day went on the snow came.  Wednesday morning we were all in bed having a cuppa and breakfast when both mine and daddy's phones went off at the same time.  SCHOOL CLOSED!  I have not heard Jamie scream so much in a long time!!

As daddy was working afternoons it was decided that we needed to get up and build a snowman.  Of course it had to be a Minecraft Snowman!

Jamie and daddy filmed the building of the snowman for their YouTube Channel (Jamson Gaming).
