Jamie's First Live Show
Ok, so he has been to the panto, and a couple of productions at the theatre, but he has seen nothing like this!! After he saw Vampires Rock - Ghost Train last year, I bought tickets for everyone to see Steve Steinman's other production: Anything For Love; based on the songs of Meatloaf. Three rows from the front. Unfortunately (fortunately) one of the group let me down at the last moment, so I asked Jamie if he fancied it??
What can I say? From the moment they came on stage he was loving it!! Both Leah and Kerry pointed out the shock on his face. He just stood there with his mouth open. He loved it even more when Steve picked on him; firstly apologising for the language, but then saying 'it's nothing worse than you hear in the playground, right?'
And then after the show; as we had seen them at Newark previously, I knew where they would come out, so we were able to get a couple of good shots of Steve and then Lorraine Crosby (original singer on Anything For Love with Meatloaf) as well as getting them to autograph our programme. Jamie didn't stop smiling or talking about it all the way home.....
