We Love Sundown!!

Once sports day was over, cousin Lucy arrived for the night.  Her daddy and Jamie's daddy were off to see The Who.  Auntie Chrissie and me took Jamie and Lucy for a lovely (kids eat for £1) meal at a local pub.  Dean would have called it 'extreme pubbing' as the pub is next to a main road, but Jamie and Lucy loved it as it had a little playground and some other children came along to play too!

What they also loved was our trip to Sundown the next morning. I was a bit worried that  Dean etc. might think it was a bit expensive (£11.95 each) but everyone had such a fantastic day.  The weather was lovely and there was hardly any tears.  Lucy didn't like the water squirting on her as we went round the pirate ride (Boozy Barrel Boat Ride), but the second time we went the water wasn't working so that was even better.  We went on the Rocky Mountain Railroad, the Robin Hood ride and the Tractor Ride more than once.  The photo shows Lucy and Jamie on the Tractor Ride - trying to catch up to Dean and Christine!   There was a number of play parks and weird story book houses and castles, the Yellow Brick Road and a wonderful sweetie adventure.  And don't forget the Santa Sleigh Ride..... And all (virtually) on our doorstep!!

Wonderful day.  Highly recommended!!  www.sundownadventureland.co.uk/themepark/
