Open Evening at Possible Secondary School

Tonight I took Jamie along to the open evening at the 'other' school.  On the road on which we live, there are two secondary schools; opposite each other at the end of the road.  Our house backs onto one.  Tonight we visited the other.

I can't say we were impressed.  We asked for a tour and the young chap who took us around had only been there a few weeks, so wasn't exactly sure himself where everything was.  Also, we were joined by one of Jamie's pals parents, and they said it had not changed since they attended.  They are about my age....

Recently I have worked at the other (on our side of the road) school, and this one felt very spread out in comparison.  Thinking the worse, there were lots of places were a child could get lost / picked on / disappear.

While we were there, Jamie had his photo taken with The League Two Championship Trophy which Lincoln City Football Club won this year.  Daddy, Uncle Dean and Auntie Chrissie were impressed.  Me and Jamie., not so. Although it probably was the highlight of the tour!!
