I spent a good couple of days taking down all the Christmas decorations and then tidying up the house; trying to get back to 'normality'. However, I was conscious that there were two Santa's missing. One that
Nanna Mo had given Jamie and sang 'We Wish You a Merry Christmas' whenever you pushed its tummy, and another Santa that had (mostly) sat on the TV with his mate Rudolph. I think I have had these about 10 years and got them free one year from Boots after spending a small fortune..... So, I went round the house with my torch looking under everything. Then I went through Jamie's room with a fine tooth comb (as they say). I found a lot of half eaten chocolate and stuff that should not have been there, but no missing Santa's!
And then we were sat at the dining room table. I was on the computer and Jamie was colouring in the colouring book he got from Santa at the North
Scarle trains. Jamie dropped his pen on the floor and going under the table to get it, he comes back with
Nanna Mo's Santa! I know I had looked and even hoovered under the table, so was very surprised to see him. When I looked under the table
myself, Jamie had hidden not 2, but 3 Santa's under the table top; where the extra leaves for the table are!!
All Santa's - including the one Jamie adopted from the girls on New Years Eve - are now
safely packed away for next year....
