Today, while at work, I got a call from Jamie's school to say could I go in?
Apparently, he had got a splinter stuck in his finger and I had to be the one to take it out!! When I got there, Jamie seemed perfectly happy - until that is, I started to pull at his finger. Jamie could not tell me where the splinter had come from but he did say that one of the TA's had tried to get it out, but it had snapped; leaving the other half in his finger. So much for only me being allowed to pull it out (and having to leave work early)!!
In the end, me and daddy gave up trying to get it out and simply put a plaster on it.
