Easter Piano Showcase
So proud! Jamie was part of a concert this morning with all of the other children who are currently learning piano at his school. His piece was 'The Russian Song' and he totally nailed it! So proud.
It was also nice to finally meet Jamie's piano teacher and some of the other parents. It seems that out of 13 pianists at the school, Jamie is the only boy!
I was glad Andrea (his teacher) organised this showcase as it gave Jamie a reason to practice everyday. We are pleased to say that Jamie has now got the Piano Prep Test book. Three of those playing this morning had their prep exams this afternoon!!
It means daily practice will be easier with something to aim for.

Happy Mothers Day
I got some lovely flowers from Jamie. He bought them because of the little teddy - which of course I said he could keep!
Laser Tag Party
What a fantastic party!! Jamie's friend Isaac had a Laser Tag Party. We were told that they should all wear scruffy clothes and no shorts. They had a gorgeous sunny day and all the mum's had to do was lead them into the woods....
The webpage says: Frontline Combat is based in woodland on the A57 Lincoln. Games include favourites such as ‘Capture the Flag’ and ‘Team Death Match’ as well as modern games like ‘Domination’. www.frontlinecombat.com/
When I went to pick him up he didn't want to come home. He was absolutely shattered. I am not exactly sure what they did in those woods, but Jamie loved it!!

Charlie's Party
Although Jamie has lots of pals, his core two still remain Charlie and Alfie. Charlie was put in a different class this year, but they still all play together in a morning and Jamie says throughout the day. The photo also shows Ben and of course Miaya.

Beauty and The Beast
While Daddy, Auntie Chrissie and Uncle Dean went to watch Lincoln City, Mummy, Lucy and Jamie met Ella and Elliot in Newark for a play in the sand park, and then to watch Beauty and the Beast (which has only just been released). Lucy was sooooo excited!!
And Lucy was right to be. It was a brilliant film.

Blog Baby 49
Congratulations! What a cutie!! Ridley Gareth Hall
was born on 17th March at 3:30am(waterbirth with a bit of gas and
air), he weighed 6lb 10oz and is great. Mum and him (and Dad) have settled into
family life, he is feeding well, sleeping occasionally and making lots of
interesting noises.
I work with Ridley's dad and found out recently that he went to the same Uni in Leeds as me; only a few years later......

World Book Day
This year children were asked to dress up as 'someone or something from a non-fiction book, for example a famous scientist, artist or historical figure.'
