Blakeney Seal Trip

Every year we say we  are going to go and see the seals at Blakeney Point.  Having walked out there in the morning, the boys booked a boat for the afternoon.  I wasn't sure what to expect, so decided to read my book on the quayside while they were taken out.  As it happened, there was nothing to worry about, and I will definitely be going with them next time.

Blakeney 2019

Again, sometimes its just nice to go somewhere you know.  Less hassle, less brain work, more time just to relax with friends and family.  As we were only going for a couple of nights we stayed (once again) in what we have come to refer to as The Shed or http://www.blakeneybedandbreakfast.co.uk/  We had some gorgeous weather...

Did we mention The Terror Tower?

As you know, we love anything Halloween related, so when we saw this on the Scarborough front: https://www.terrortower.co.uk/ , we thought; Why Not (send the boys in?) - someone had to hold the bags!

They were in and out very quickly. Apparently there were 'figures' who were obviously real people following them about.  I think the boys - Will and Jamie - were a bit too young!  But Matt and Dale couldn't stop the nervous laughter!!

Scarborough 2019

We had such a good time last year that we decided to meet Will etc. again this year.....Beach and the steam train, kite flying, Peasholme Park; dragon boats, plenty of fish and chips (and more food!), a little bit of shopping - Happy! (not so happy about the amount of stairs we had to climb to get to our room, but we did have a good view, and we were on the sea front!)
