Lincoln City, Lincoln City
Cousin Lucy with Uncle Dean and Auntie Chrissie came up this weekend. The main reason being to watch Lincoln City as they have been doing so well lately.
Of course, Lincoln City won and they all went crazy. There was a pitch invasion and singing and hugging and celebrations. We even got the champers out when they all got home!!

Sorcerers Apprentice at Lincoln Theatre Royal
Had a lovely afternoon at Lincoln Theatre Royal watching The Sorcerers Apprentice. It wasn't exactly the one I was expecting and perhaps a little old for Jamie and Will but we all loved it!

Picnic on the Common with Daddy
A long, long time ago, Daddy's family used to have regular picnics on the Lincoln Common. So, today Daddy took Jamie, and they had a small feast under the Simpson tree....

Finding Neverland Workshop
For a three day workshop REACH were asking £65 which I thought was good value. Jamie insisted he wanted to go, so I could not refuse.
I was worried on his first day as he could not stop coughing. It was mentioned to me the second day but Jamie was happy enough to keep going. (I think they were more concerned with his coughing during the production than Jamie himself!)
For the 'performance' on the third day I had to source a 'costume' consisting of a shirt, braces and long shorts. This meant going to a couple of charity shops. I can understand some of the 'dance mums' I see on FB now. One of these 'dance mums' put on FB that her daughter had enrolled, so Jamie did know someone, but on the second day I could see he had already made friends and was playing with some of the other boys.
Unfortunately, I could not make the performance as I was at work. Nana and Daddy were able to see him though. As I said, Jamie totally enjoyed the whole experience. However, from what I can gather he might have enjoyed the playing a little bit more than the actual learning of dance moves and song lyrics....

Happy 8th Birthday
Once again, Jamie's birthday fell in the Easter hols which meant we were celebrating for a number of days.
We had a party at the house for family on the Sunday before, and Jamie chose a Ghostbusters cake:
We had asked everyone for a contribution towards a giant Lego Simpsons house that Jamie had seen, but good old Uncle Paul went and bought it for Jamie outright. I wonder who will end up making it.....
On his actual birthday, we met up with some of his pals at Pizza Hut. This time he chose the usual caterpillar cake.

Jamie's First Football Match
Lincoln City, at home, to Dagenham and Redbridge. It was also Elliot's first game.
Not sure if they both enjoyed it. But at least Lincoln won!!
